There are presently no open calls for submissions.
General Guidelines
Poetry: Up to 5 poems, 8 page limit
Fiction: 300-2,000 words, flash fiction preferred
Include a cover letter with your name, address, phone number, and email in the header, and a brief biography.
Please
limit submissions to once per cycle. Simultaneous submissions are
accepted, but please let us know if your work is accepted elsewhere. We
are seeking only unpublished work.
Submit
Submissions accepted only through Submittable. We unfortunately cannot accommodate e-mail, snail mail, carrier pigeon, or owl (though we're working on recruiting a mail-delivering menagerie).
Submission Types:
1) General Submission without Feedback: Typical reading time is 5-8 weeks, no submission fee. Open November-December.
2) General Submission with Feedback: Typical reading time is 5-8 weeks and includes critical feedback for each submission. Feedback is from PIVOT editors and distinguished guest readers. $5 submission fee. Open year round.
